It was time in Whoville to find a new king. Based on truth and integrity, a trustworthy thing.
″My friends!” cried Donald. “Tell me! Do tell! Are you safe? Are you sound? Are you whole? Are you well? I’ll make your lives better; I promise you all”. But a tale is a tale, no matter how tall.
“Believe me,” said Donald, “I tell you sincerely, my ears are quite keen and I hear you quite clearly. If I am picked, I’ll be honest and just. Of course, I am somebody that you can trust.”
So, the people of Whoville made Donald their king. Excited for the changes he promised to bring. Donald called back to the folks in the town. “You’re safe now. Don’t worry. I won’t let you down.”
But he did let them down, placing him before them. The picture he promised turned awfully grim. Causing thousands in Whoville to die without care. All of his failures became burdens to bear.
“You’re not our friend, you lied to us all. We believed in your word but you let us all fall. We’ve lost our houses, our ceilings and floors. We’ve lost our churches and grocery stores.”
They finally learned Donald couldn’t be trusted. He left people of Whoville shattered and busted. “It took us four years living through your lies. You’re somebody we have all come to despise.”
But do not despair, a new king will be picked. And this time Whoville will not be tricked. “We’ll choose someone decent who believes in us all. A person’s a person, no matter how small.”
“We’re riden’ with Biden!”
