In 1995, John Lennon’s demo REAL LOVE was completed by his former Beatles bandmates (Paul McCartneyGeorge Harrison and Ringo Starr) as part of the Beatles Anthology project.  It was released as a Beatles single in 1996

In 2023, McCartney said he had “just finished” working on getting Lennon’s voice from an old demo of his to complete another of John’s songs, using artificial intelligence.

He called the project “the final Beatles record”, but he did not say what the song was; however, BBC News said it was probably ‘Now and Then’. It is planned for release sometime later in 2023.

It remains to see what form ‘Now and Then’ will take, or how much audio the group had of George Harrison to go alongside John Lennon’s vocals and piano. But whatever happens, Beatles fans will not want to miss this, and hear the first ‘new’ Beatles song for nearly 30 years.
