As a Novelist and Children’s Picture Book author I am pleased to welcome a new roommate to share my wooded Writers Cottage. She is none other than LA Television Screenwriter and my eldest daughter Micaela. Now based in her hometown of Seattle she will continue her writing as well as study for her Masters of Education for the State of Washington. After a successful post grad degree and adjunct professorship at Loyola Marymount University in SoCal she got back to where she once belonged and her Seattle family and friends couldn’t be more delighted.
Also, being a talented singer, we will perform together at the upcoming charity Benefit Concert for the Ronald McDonald House.
It is really a Blessing to have both of my creative daughters around to support and encourage each other in our individual writing projects. Now in the tradition of Woolf’s Writing Lodge or Rowlings Elephant House Café we are truly a collaborative Canedo’s Writers Cottage where we can hopefully draw inspiration. Nothing can please this old dad more.
