Godzilla Rock is located on the shore of Shiosezaki on the southern side of Oga Peninsula, Japan. Made from a volcanic eruption about 30 million years ago. Some suggest that Godzilla is a metaphor for the United States, a “giant beast” woken from its “slumber” that then takes terrible vengeance on Japan.
