The Children’s Picture Book, HaveYouSeenGreen?  It’s a delightful story of little Jacob who saw green was missing from the rainbow. In his search he learns that green fades when we don’t take care of the earth. So, children around the world work together to bring it back.

Paola, a former pre-school teacher, read HAVE YOU SEEN GREEN? to her students. Afterwards they collected the classroom recycled paper and then ventured outside to the school yard and happily gathered up and disposed of all of the litter they could find. And just like little Jacob in the story who claimed, “I’m only one kid, what can I do?”, they all learned, “change starts with just one, let it be you.”

So, on that beautiful Spring morning, each one of those eager young children were on their way to making a difference. And wouldn’t it be wonderful if it were true of everyone?
