During this pandemic we have all had to re-define ourselves and adjust the way our families act and interact to keep our neighbors and loved ones safe. It’s a microcosm of what’s needed in our nation.

Let’s face the facts. Because of the blatant disregard of the coronavirus by this president there are 6,118,204 infected and 186,348 deaths that could have been avoided. Wow, they could have been avoided. And no matter how he tries to ignore them, the numbers are sadly increasing every day and staring him in a face that doesn’t care.

Look around. If you are happy with the way things are and want 4 more years of divisiveness, hatred, racism and over 50 million unemployment with more US deaths of our family members and children going unchecked, just keep your knee on the neck of our country. And God help you.

But as we’ve done for our own families, we must re-set, re-adjust, re-start and re-focus our nation. We’re not morally bankrupt but rich with compassion. And with the upcoming elections, we have the opportunity to take a sad song and make it better.

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”    President Barack Obama

The choice is yours. If you don’t participate, I hope you can live with the outcome.
