June 5 was World Environment Day. This annual event is celebrated to raise awareness and encourage action for the protection of our planet. It was first established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972, and since then, over 150 countries participate in various activities to celebrate this day.
Do what you can to participate in any activity that will help to nurture our Mother Earth, after all, we are just borrowing it, leaving a loving legacy for our children.
